Lots of project work going on this weekend... much writing to be done.
We hosted a potluck at the guys apartment tonight. Most of the group was present, and the professors even stopped by for appetizers (unfortunately we were a bit late with the main courses - cooking for twenty is difficult with such inconsistent stoves!).
Our menu included fresh bread, bruschetta, and caprese to start; penne and gnocchi with marinara and lime-seared chicken as a first course; fried rice and seafood zucchini as second course; and fruit pastry tarts for dessert. Everything save for the tarts was homemade. It was a pretty successful meal, I'd say.
